Kim Victoria Cattrall is an Canadian actor of the English nationality born the 21st of August 1956. Her most well-known character in the role was Samantha Jones, in the HBO show Sex and the City. Sex and the City has earned its five Emmy Award nods and received four Golden Globe Award noms. In 2002 she won the Golden Globe Award as Best Supporting Actress. In the years 2008 and 2010 she reprised her role in the movies Sex and the City and Sex and the City 2. The actress was also the leading actor in Police Academy Big Trouble In Little China Mannequin & Porky's. There is a lot of talk about Kim Cattrall and the first thought that comes to mind is her character in the role of Samantha Jones in the popular HBO television sitcom Sex & the City. The film was also both critically and commercially highly acclaimed. Before beginning her acting profession as a model, she worked as an Swedish model. Then she won the Miss Sweden contest. After that, she moved to the United States and began appearing in a variety of movies. She portrayed the role of Venusian Guard in Abbott and Costello Go to Mars which was her debut credit performance. Following her appearance as a character in Blood Alley, she won the Golden Globe Award in the category of Most Promising Youngcomer.
